One Diet Recommendation for Fibromyalgia Patients
A diet high in magnesium has been shown to help in mediating and bridging the gap between muscular tightness, and atrophy associated with fibromyalgia. Because magnesium taken in high doses has been shown to be a heavy diuretic, and lead to frequent bowel movements if taken in excess, getting enough through diet is something I have seen be effective as I manage these patients in getting them results.
Great sources of magnesium in the diet are: whole grains, legumes, and leafy greens, as well as seeds from wine grapes, and bananas. Another great thing to consider is ginger, which has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, in a tea, a bath, or ingested in some sort of soup, basically ginger anything!
However, if you are one of those that have exhausted much of these options, and more, and have not seen the results you are looking for, the nerve system could be the missing link to finding you resolve. At the Specific Chiropractic Center, we help these people everyday receive results when nothing else has worked. We would love to see if you are a candidate for our care, because if you are, healing can become a reality!
